Development potential of parts of municipalities on example of Police nad Metují

Czech settlement system is known for a large number of small municipalities and there are discussions about limited possibilities for their development or even the integration of small municipalities. But there is lack of discussion about problems of parts of municipalities. This bachelor work describes development problems of parts of municipalities. These problems are often similar as development problems of small municipalities. The main hypothesis of this thesis is that development pottential is influenced by population size. This hypothesis was verified by quantitative analysis of available data and by own observation in the parts of municipalities. In the case of Police nad Metují this hypothesis was proved.
